REMC Ltd is facilitating various Zonal Railwayds /PUs to familiarize /understand the concept of Power procurement/ Renewable Energy/ Energy Efficiency etc. In this regard, various capacity building programmes are being organized from time to time to develop the expertise in the field of Power Procurement, Renewable etc.

On the occasion of 9th Annual Day of REMC Ltd ,16.08.2021, a seminar on "Emerging trends of Energy Transition in Indian Railways" was organised successfully. This occassion was graced by our chief guest Chairman REMC Ltd/ Chairman & Managing Director RITES Ltd Shri V.G. Suresh Kumar.
Also, Shri B.P.Nayak, Director (Finance), RITES Ltd, Shri Manish Gupta, ED/EEM, Railway Board, Shri Ajay Kumar Singhal, CEO/ REMC Ltd and Senior officials of RITES and REMC were present at the occasion.
Various eminent speakers & Industry experts showcased their presentation and shared the knowledge about power planning for IR, Scheduling & Forecasting of power, wind & solar power projects scenario for IR, challenges, mitigation & way forward, E- bidding, hydro power, Deep portal for power procurement, 2 x 250 MW Thermal power plant at Nabinagar.
This seminar was organised with a aim to enhance the knowledge base and expertise of REMC Ltd officials. REMC Ltd is always committed to organise such type of seminars & capacity building programme for fostering the skills & expertise of employees associated with the company.
