Bhupender Singh Bodh
Bhupender Singh Bodh is working as chief executive Officer in REMC ltd. He is from the 1991 Batch of the Indian Railway Service of the Electrical Engineers (IRSEE). He has extensive experience in Railway Electrification projects, SCADA & Transmission line works. He has successfully resolved the chronic problem of insulator and ATD failures on Indian Railways while working as Director/RDSO Lucknow.
He has worked in the planning phase of the Dedicated Freight corridor and was chosen to stir the Mission of 100% Railway Electrification of Govt of India, wherein a record 7188 Rkms were commissioned in a single year.
He was part of the PM GatiShakti team and working as Executive Director/Gatishakti Electrical, and responsible to plan the 2x25 ac electric system up gradation to meet heavy freight and higher speed vande Bharat trains pan India.
He is MIET, Chartered Engineer IET, UK & Senior Member IEEE, USA.
He has joined REMCL as CEO on 15th April 2025.
CA. rakesh Gupta
Sh. Rakesh Gupta is a seasoned industry professional and member of the elite community of Chartered Accountants since 2001. He has been working with RITES Ltd. for the past 21 years and has since then worked under various dynamic capacities covering the multiple facets of finance and financial services.
With extensive post qualification experience in Financial Management, International Trade and Taxation, Corporate Finance, Project Management and Accounting, he is a fervent learner with immense expertise and knowledge in his domain.
He has continually been spearheading various strategic business units of the company in diverse sectors such as Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Exports & International Business wherein works such as design and implementation of accounting systems and policies, auditing and financial reporting, internal control procedures and budgeting tools have been undertaken.
He is also handling the Finance Concurrence Division of RITES Ltd, looking after its crucial aspects of financial propriety, prudence and other financial issues.
He has also previously worked as the Dy. Chief Financial Advisor for Ahmedabad Rail Metro and has handled numerous project management aspects of mega infrastructure projects funded by the World Bank along with the Line of Credits issued by the Government of India.
Furthermore, he is also a member of various trusts and committees affiliated to the company and has prior to joining RITES, worked with Diamond Cements – S.K. Birla Group Company and several other leading Chartered Accountant firms.
RIZWAN AHMAD JAMALI
Shri. Rizwan Ahmad Jamali is working aa General Group Manager in REMC ltd. and is responsible for Renewable Energy Projects pertaining to Solar Power, Wind Energy and Sustainable energy development projects towards achievement of Mission “Net-Zero Carbon Emission of Indian Railways by 2030”.
He belongs to the IRSEE-97 batch (Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers) and is working on deputation in REMC ltd. since August 2023.He has an extensive experience of around 24 years of working in the field of Power Supply & Coaching, Locomotive Production, Traction Power Distribution, Train Operation, Design & Development of various Railway Projects during his postings in Northern Railway, Banaras Locomotive Works, South-Eastern Railway, RDSO (Research Design & Standards Organisation), North Central Railway.
He has also worked as Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board He has attended Advanced Management Programmes at INSEAD, Singapore and ICLIF, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has been to Milan, Italy regarding development of equipment’s of three phase Electric Multiple Unit Train. His interest includes painting, reading and pursues Walking and Swimming for fitness.
Surender Kumar Gupta
Sh. Surender Kumar Gupta is working as Group General Manager at REMC Ltd. He is a Graduate in Electrical Engineering and Post Graduate in Power System. He is having an overall experience of 38 years in various segments in RITES & REMC Ltd
He served RITES-Airport SBU for about 16 years (1987 to 2002) and looked after the PMC of various domestic & international Airports projects at all stages of work from concept to commissioning viz., Preliminary Design, Project Specifications Estimation, Technical Sanction, Invitation of Tenders, Evaluation of Tenders & Award of Work, Signing of Contract Agreement, Project Execution Commissioning, Handling over & Financial Closure etc. including smooth completion of Defect Liability Period of the projects.
He also served RITES-Electrical Engineering Department for about 10 Years (2003-2012) and handled various projects of Electrical Discipline, such as Internal & External Electrification, 33 KV and 11 kV Electric Sub-Station & Distribution Network, HVAC (air-conditioning), FDA system, General services Building Projects (Office / Institutional / Residential Buildings), Railway Workshop Projects and Married Accommodation (Township) Project of Ministry of Defence in various States in the Country.
He is one of the founder members of REMCL Ltd and had served the organization for about 9 years in the past from 2013 - 2021. He was associated with the Renewable Energy Projects (Wind & Solar), Regulatory Matters in Power Sector, all the important matters of the company related with Busines Development, Project Investment, Corporate Works, General Administrative Works, CSR Work, and Coordination matters etc. besides providing the required assistance to CEO in related matters for smooth working of the Company. He also served as the 'SBU Head' of a newly created ‘Renewable Energy SBU’ in RITES for about 9 months in the year 2022 and again served REMCL for about 8 months till May-2023. He was also associated with one of the Railway Electrification projects of IR being executed by RITES in the Lumding- Badarpur Section of NFR in Assam for about one year.
Presently, he is working in REMC Ltd and is associated with the Business Development, General Administrative Works and CSR work etc. of the company.
manish tiwari
Shri. Manish Tiwari is working as General Manager in REMC Ltd. He is a Graduate in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Bhopal with Masters' in Quality Engineering form B.I.T, Mesra.
He is currently looking after Power Procurement, Power planning and providing advisory services to Indian Railways on regulatory issues related to deemed licensee status and related matters. He is also advising Railways on issues related to scheduling of power including procurement of power form energy exchange.
He has vast experience in Quality Assurance including third party inspection of equipments and machinery procured by Indian Railways, Quality Systems and Quality Control, Drafting power purchase agreements etc. His interests include reading and table tennis and yoga for fitness.
Abhishek
Shri Abhishek is working as a General Manager at REMC Limited. He is a Graduate Electrical Engineer & Post Graduate in Management having 21 years of experience in various domains.
He is looking after planning & execution of Renewable Energy projects at REMC Ltd. He has played key role in bidding and implementation of various Solar Rooftop projects, Wind power projects & Ground mounted Solar PV power projects over Indian Railways. He is also associated with various activities related to Renewable & Sustainable energy, Net Zero Carbon Emission Mission of Indian Railways, Training & Capacity Building and sourcing of Green Power from Mega Solar Parks etc.
He has also served RITES Ltd. in various roles & capacities. He has experience in Quality Assurance including third party inspection of equipments and machinery procured by Indian Railways from domestic and overseas manufactures. Before RITES Ltd, he has also worked in General Electric (GE) Motors in the area of Plant Engineering.
He is a qualified Chartered Engineer and life member of various Professional Bodies. He attended various training programs at IIT Delhi, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, MDI Gurugram, CPRI Bangalore, IREDA Vadodara, BHEL, ABB, IRIEEN & SUZLON etc. His interest includes Poetry, Cricket & Social Services.
